speed dating canceled – men didn’t show up (shocking, we know)

hello!

well, well, well… this is embarrassing. we had an army of amazing, interesting, attractive women ready to meet someone new. but the men? oh, they were nowhere to be found. that’s right—our speed dating event had to be canceled because we couldn’t get enough guys to apply. classic (actually not classic at all!).

what happened? did all the guys suddenly get drafted into a secret government mission? did their phones self-destruct the moment they sent the application form? did they all get lost on their way to cabal and refuse to ask for directions? we may never know. all we know is that the ratio was looking like a casting call for a taylor swift concert, and that’s just not how speed dating works.

BUT (and this is a big but), we’re not giving up. we’re already plotting a new dating event, and this time, we’ll do whatever it takes to get men through the door. free beer? fake a champions league watch party? promise them unlimited “chill” without the Netflix? we’ll figure it out.

in the meantime, let’s turn this tragedy into a celebration. come to cabal tonight between 19:00 - 21:00, and we’ll give you a free drink of your choice. because if we can’t give you a date, we can at least give you a well-made cocktail and a safe space to roast the no-shows. bring your friends, let’s drink, laugh, and maybe even start a petition to make men sign legally binding RSVPs.
